About this watch
An elegant Breitling Premier chronograph, encased in 18 carat rose gold, which dates back to the the Switz manufacturer’s production in 1945. With all its original features, it boasts a champagne dial with distinctive triple register layout, a 35mm case, is reference 787, has manual movement with 18,000 bph, 17 jewels and caliber Venus 178.
A smart watch to wear and a real collectors find, which will only increase in value over time, this watch runs well and keeps very good charge.
We have replaced the old watch strap with a new light brown leather strap to complement the watches colouring.
The high-end, internationally recognised, watch manufacturing company, Breitling was founded in 1884 by one Leon Breitling. In the early days, the company became known for their high-precision watches specifically targeted to aviators, but later also developed high-performance watches for divers.
A family-run business Breitling was obsessed with speed and racing and developing a stopwatch that could measure these with the greatest of accuracy, and in so doing developed the best on the market at the time. In the 1930s Breitling had a contract with both the Royal Air Force and the United States Air Force.
