A little history:
The Hamilton Mark XI RAF 1960 was tested to chronometer standards by the Ministry of Defence and the watch dial was produced to British Air Ministry design. The 6B was used by the RAF to mark property out as ‘flying equipment’, a term used for a wide range of items intended for airborne use.
