About this watch
So called "bumper" as a description of the action of the watch's automatic movement. Rather than a 360 degree rotation, the weight acts as a pendulum and swings 130 degrees before bumping into a cushioning spring and returning. This movement then generates the power reserve. This is a very fine original example in stainless steel from circa 1950. We have replaced the strap with a new alligator band. The watch runs very well.
