About this watch

A super stylish, 18 carat solid gold, Omega De Ville, which dates back to 1969. Featuring a gold dial, gold hands, gold applied baton hour markers, and a date window at the 3 ‘o’ clock mark, this watch is Omega at it’s finest, in the production of something classic, smart and luxurious.

Omega branding can be found on the dial, movement and case. Reference 1665002, caliber 565, this 35mm watch is powered by 24 jewels, with an automatic movement which yields 19,800 beats per hour (5.5 per second).

An all round excellent watch, in an original condition, it comes fully serviced and regulated. We have replaced the strap with a new crocodile version, to complement the overall look and feel of the model.

A little history: the elegant Omega De Ville was introduced as a separate line in 1967, prior to which it had been part of the Seamaster line (since 1960). With it’s more youthful look it soon became the Omega’s bestselling collection, at the time.
