About this watch

A distinctive and rare Omega RAF (Royal Air Force), that dates back to 1953. With an often sought after black dial this model was designed for military purposes. Only 5,900 of these watches were ever manufactured and issued to the RAF in May 1953. Consequently, they are rather appropriately referred to today as the “53 Omegas”.

With a manual wind movement, reference 2777/1 SC, 18000 bph, 17 jewels caliber 283, Incabloc shock protection and sweep seconds, this watch is a real find as both a collectors item and an attractive watch to wear.
