About this watch
A subtle stunner of a 1961 Omega Seamaster with Orange dial, totally naturally aged by the sun.
Original features include: Orange dial with gold baton markers; caliber 552 automatic movement yielding 19,800 bph (5.5 beats per second) with 24 jewels; Incabloc shock protection; sweep seconds; stamped 34mm stainless steel case sporting iconic sea-horse logo; signed crown.
The original movement has been fully serviced and regulated, and the watch is working well. We have partnered it here fittingly with a fine replacement strap in dark brown.
A little history: based on the pilot’s watch supplied by Omega to the British RAF during World War II, the Seamaster was launched in 1948 to mark the company’s centenary. This one dates from the absolute peak of the Omega Seamaster marque.
Original, Stamped. Stainless Steel
