About this watch
A lovely, historically-rich, original Rolex Air King 5700 series watch manufactured in 1968. One of the longest running watch series in the Rolex line, it has a distinct aeronautic pedigree in Rolex’s production of professional activity watches.
With its automatic movement, 34mm steel case, silver baton dial and a steel bracelet it has a simplicity that is enduring.
This watch is in excellent working condition.
A little history
The Rolex Air King model dates back to the 1940’s, and spans more then 70 years of production. Rolex founder, Hans Wilsdorf, chose to honour the Battle of Britain RAF pilots with a series of Air watches, of which only the Air King remains in production today.
