About this watch
This fine example of a classic Rolex Men’s Oyster Perpetual Datejust ref.1600 was produced 50 years on from the 1945 introduction of the Datejust marque: the world’s first self-winding wristwatch chronometer to display the date in a window.
This beautiful timepiece include: a 36mm stainless steel Oyster waterproof case; sigma dial (ot swiss to); top-of-the-line chronometer grade 1570 movement; crystal with distinctive Cyclops magnifying window – the spirit of the watch – at 3 o-clock; supple stainless steel Jubilee bracelet 8” (designed specifically for the launch of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust in ’45).
Stylish, precise, versatile, reliable, sporty yet dressy, a Datejust was featured on Paul Newman’s wrist in the 1986 film, The Color of Money.
